Fitness League Class

FLexercise with Alison‘FLexercise’ combines physical exercise, yoga and movement. In addition, it improves posture, balance, strength and increases energy levels. If you want a class that develops with you in a fun and friendly environment then this is perfect; it is also suitable for everyone.

Ginnie’s Jerks

Ginnie's JerksGini’s Dancercise class has been going for nearly 30 years! The class combines T’ai Chi, Pilates and strengthening, culminating in 30 minutes of Ballet Barre. The photo shows people demonstrating the three disciplines followed in the class.

Hart Yoga Beginners Flow

We work with a mixture of flowing and static postures. Synching breath with movement, yoga allows the student to be completely in their body and leave the thinking mind behind, even if just for a short while! All classes end with ‘pranayama’ (breath work) and guided relaxation. Therefore, leaving a feeling of balance and peace.

Phoenix Martial Arts

Class demonstrating martial arts.Kickboxing takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in two groups:

  1. 6.30pm – 7.30pm for 4 to 12 year olds with the aim of introducing Kickboxing and Kungfu, and to develop through the dan belt syllabus.
  2. 7.45pm – 9.15pm on Tuesdays and 7.30pm to 9.00pm on Thursdays for all other ages.

Sue Lott’s Exercise Classes

Sue Lott's Exercise ClassesClasses are Pilates based with a warm up, stretch, mat work and cool down / relaxation. Suitable for beginners to intermediate and aim to improve awareness, strength and flexibility. Friday’s sessions are slower paced and contain mindfulness with closer emphasis on good alignment and execution.

Yoga with Tanya

Yoga with TanyaTanya has been teaching yoga for over 10 years. ‘Scaravelli’ yoga is a clever approach where movement begins to feel lighter and easier as the body learns to move more freely and efficiently. The sessions are suitable for everyone and are particularly good for people with joint problems, back problems or health conditions such as fibromyalgia. In addition, it can help you regain health after surgery or invasive treatments including those for cancer.

Coffee & ConnectAn independent networking group for local businesses, held on the first Wednesday of the month (excluding August) in the Victoria Hall.

Meetings are relaxed and friendly, and first time visitors are welcome. We each have 30 seconds to introduce ourselves and our business. After that we stay and chat.

People travel from Farnham and Camberley in Surrey. And Fleet, Farnborough, Hartley Wintney, Hook, Odiham and Basingstoke in Hampshire.

Hartley Arts Group (HAG)Hartley Arts Group (HAG) has held productions in the Victoria Hall and rehearsals in the Jubilee Hall for many years. We put on three major drama productions a year and a further Christmas show where we showcase our HAG Rocks Choir.

Art Appreciation

Art appreciation classes are held in the Lady Kaye meeting room on the third Monday of the month (September to July) at 2.00 pm.

Art Group

U3A art classA friendly art class welcoming all levels where we use oil, watercolour, acrylics and pastels. At the beginning of the class our tutor, Liz Gynn, demonstrates an aspect of art. After that, we either build on that technique or work on our own. Liz does a great job of helping, advising and encouraging us.

Anyone who is familiar with the basics of Bridge is welcome to join us and we play ‘Duplicate Bridge’. We play to win and to learn but fun is the main aim.

Join us for some country and line dancing where we get lots of exercise but most importantly have lots of fun.

The monthly meetings provide updates on Group activities. There is a guest speaker, and tea, coffee and biscuits are available before the meeting.

U3A photography classOur meetings usually begin with members exhibiting their photos. After that, we discuss and provide constructive feedback to help us improve. Finally, we listen to a tutorial covering an aspect of photography and occasionally we go on a field trip.
