Milica’s story is inspiring; she was introduced to the guitar aged seven and would have given it up were it not for the war in her native Bosnia and her family’s sudden decision to move to Australia.
Milica studied at the University of Western Australia under the great tutor Dr John Casey, whose pupils included the renowned guitarist Craig Ogden. By 21, Milica was opening concerts for José Carreras as a solo artist.
In 2008 Milica settled in London and by 2015 she had formed her own label. Her passion for music was shared by a fellow guitarist, flamenco master Ramon Ruiz, who has become a great collaborator behind Milica’s new album ‘Go South in the Winter’, due for release in 2016.
Don’t miss this great night at The Victoria Hall.
