A Hartley Whitney resident since early 2019 and a Trustee since 2020. I am retired from the IT industry where I fulfilled senior Sales and Marketing roles in a variety of industries after an early career in product development. I have experience in community involvement and the voluntary sector.

After an apprenticeship with GPO telecoms, I spent almost 40 years working for American office equipment and computer companies. On retirement from this, my wife and I set up and ran the village sweetshop for 5 years finally retiring fully in 2016. I’ve lived in Hartley Wintney for the last 8 years.

Neel Williams

I became involved with the Victoria Hall in 2014 and a trustee in 2017. I grew up in Denmark where I qualified and worked as a nurse before coming to the UK in 1978. I continued nursing part-time so I could train to become a swimming teacher. I taught swimming at Hart Leisure Centre for 20 years.

Nick Gibbons

I am a chartered accountant and have lived in Hartley Wintney for 25 years with my wife and two sons. For over 30 years I have worked in senior roles in food companies in the UK and overseas supplying major retailers. I now work part time and am pleased to have the opportunity to join a dedicated group of volunteers helping to run the charity for the benefit of the local community.

Edward Woods, Chairman of the Victoria and Jubilee Halls since 2017. Educated in UK and USA before spending 30 years in the Army with the Scots Guards. In 2000 I set up an education charity for young people not achieving at school and on retiring in 2013 it had 15,000 students and 1,000 volunteers.
